SHIPPING INFO
FOR CHAIRS/SOFAS/BEDS:
Please allow 6-8 weeks for production and up to 1 week to arrive.
- We offer free threshold delivery.
- Once your order ships, you will receive a notification by email with tracking info.
- Within 4-7 business days after your order has shipped, you will receive a phone call from a local courier to arrange a delivery time (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm).
- We recommend an extra set of hands on deck to help with moving your box(es).
- In some instances, our delivery agents may not be able to place your order into the first threshold of your residence. The driver may leave your box(es) in your first dry, covered area.
- In some remote areas, we may ship your item with UPS. Your shipment notification will contain UPS tracking info, which will provide you with your delivery date. Any updates with UPS shipments will be made electronically.
- APARTMENTS & CONDOS: Some buildings are only allowing drivers into the building entrance, as opposed to your front door; please plan accordingly.
ROOM OF CHOICE DELIVERY:
- In most areas, we offer the option to upgrade to Room of Choice delivery on all chairs/sofas/beds for an additional $250.
- This service includes delivery to the room of your choice, with removal of all packaging.
- PLEASE NOTE: For Beds and Sofas – Room of Choice delivery does NOT include assembly. Items will be brought to the room of choice and taken out of their boxes, with removal of all packaging.

FOR CUBINO CHAIRS & MATTRESSES:
Ships within 1-2 weeks.
FOR ALL OTHER PURCHASES:
Please allow 3-4 weeks for production and up to 1 week to arrive.
Once your order ships, you will receive a notification by email with common carrier tracking info.
ADDRESS CHANGE/RE-ROUTE
If you are moving or need to change your shipping address, please let us know prior to your order shipping. Once shipped, it is possible to change the address; however, this can result in shipping delays and a possible re-routing fee.
NOT READY TO RECEIVE YOUR ORDER?
If you do not need your order within our 6-8 week lead time, please notify us ASAP. We can hold your order in our warehouse for as long as you need without issue. Once shipped, if you are unable to accept delivery within a reasonable time frame it may be subject to storage fees.
PLEASE NOTE:
Before you sign for the delivery, it is important to inspect the packaging in the unlikely event there is damage to your item that may have occurred while in transit. If there is visible damage to the product, please make note of it when you sign for your delivery. Please retain all packaging until you have fully inspected your products.
WARRANTY
For GLIDERS, ROCKERS, BEDS, SOFAS, CHAIRS & OTTOMANS
Rest Easy — our manufacturing warranty covers:
- There is a 2 year limited warranty on the battery and reclining mechanism for motorized chairs.
- 5 years on internal wood frame
- 5 years on internal springs
- 5 years on exterior metal frames or exposed woods
- 2 years on foam, fabric and metal glider mechanisms
For BASSINETS & CUBINO KIDS’ CHAIRS our manufacturing warranty covers:
- 1 year limited warranty against any defects in manufacturing
PLEASE NOTE:
- Original proof of purchase is required to make a claim; warranty is non-transferable.
- Our warranty does not apply to products purchased under the following circumstances:
- Floor models or display models
- Second hand or "as is" merchandise
- Products obtained during a going out of business or liquidation sale
- Items purchased through a rental company
- The following are NOT considered manufacturer’s defects and will NOT be covered under warranty:
- regular wear and tear
- dye transfers from clothing or other fabrics (such as dark denim staining the upholstery)
- exposure to direct sunlight that causes damage/fading
- misuse of product causing damage/deterioration (such as prolonged sitting on the arm of a glider)
- failure to follow proper assembly, cleaning and/or care instructions
- altering the product in any way (ie reupholstering, adding fabric treatment, etc)
- Warranty will be void if merchandise has been moved from original delivery address
- Monte Design reserves the right to charge for any additional expenses that may incur during a warranty claim (shipping and labour costs)
EXCHANGE/RETURNS
EXCHANGE POLICY: 14-DAY HASSLE FREE
We think you’re going to love your Monte product, but in case you change your mind, we offer one FREE EXCHANGE within 14 days from the date you receive your product; there is no return shipping fee for an exchange.
Exchange must be equal or lesser value (if the replacement item is a lesser value, a gift card will be issued for the difference).
Product must be in original packaging for an exchange.
IF YOU NO LONGER HAVE THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING FOR AN EXCHANGE:
For an exchange without the original packaging, we will send out your replacement item in a new Monte box; use this box to return the original item back to Monte.
Your replacement item will require a deposit until we receive the original item back to our warehouse.
- A 50% refundable deposit will be taken when the replacement item is ordered
- This 50% deposit will be credited back to your original form of payment once the original item is returned and received by Monte
RETURN POLICY: 14-DAY HASSLE-FREE
If for any reason you choose to RETURN your Monte product, you will have 14 days from the date you receive it to request a refund for the full purchase price, less a return shipping fee. The return shipping fees are as follows:
- $149 return shipping fee for each glider, rocker, chair or bed
- $49 return shipping fee for each sofa sectional piece, ottoman, mattress, cubino, pillow, bed accessory or bassinet
- PRODUCT MUST BE IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING FOR A RETURN
PLEASE NOTE:
- Any returned or exchanged Monte product must be unused, in new condition, and returned in its original box & packaging
- Mattresses are only refundable if in original compressed packaging
- Once the product is returned to us in its original condition, a refund will be processed
- All replacement items do not include "room of choice delivery", even if "room of choice" was part of your original order
