To Raise Footrest Pull up hidden handle on right side between seat & arm to pop up footrest Press & hold arm’s inset button to automatically raise footrest
To Recline Firmly push backwards with your upper body Continue to press & hold arm’s inset button
To Return to the Upright Position Shift your upper body to upright, then firmly push your heels downward for the footrest to click back down Press & hold the other inset button on the arm

To keep your hands free, our manual recliners are designed to utilize your body weight to recline & stay reclined. You may find it easier to recline if you remove the lumbar pillow & sit at the very back of the seat, then use your upper body to gently push back & recline. As soon as you lean forward, the recline will return upright.

No. Our motorized recliners are cordless & only need to be plugged in to re-charge. To re-charge, plug in for 8 hours every 6-8 weeks.

No. Like most re-chargeable batteries, it is best to unplug once fully charged to maintain battery performance.

"I've been eyeing this glider since I was pregnant with my first, and finally pulled the trigger on it for my fifth. I wish I'd gotten it sooner! It is super comfortable and great for those late night baby rocking sessions. Way better on the back to be in a nice chair like this than sitting in bed with a newborn. I got it in a lovely boucle fabric which feels very high end and durable. The clean lines of this chair are just perfect. We are planning on moving it into our living room when it's no longer needed in the nursery, and think it will look fabulous."

The perfect chair

"We purchased this glider a few months ago but I wanted to wait until I put it to use with my newborn before leaving a review. This chair is wonderful. Despite the compact size and streamlined look (perfect for our current small apartment) it is extremely comfortable. Though I can’t compare to other options, I suspect this chair is more supportive than typical nursery gliders due to the upright back and firm seat. I’m 5’8 and the back and arm rests are perfect. The swivel feature is a huge plus in order to move around and grab things from a side table while nursing. I also went for the manual recline- while it’s true that reclining past the baseline recline requires sustained effort to keep in place, I actually prefer not being able to recline further as I don’t intend (and try avoid) sleeping in the chair. I find it reclines the perfect amount for my needs. And lastly the glide- perfection. So smooth. I love this chair and know it will be a special place for my child and I for years to come. I hope to purchase another in the future!"

We love your designs, website everything. We ordered some fabric samples and got them last week. We are interested in ordering two glider recliners but are hesitant to without trying them first. My husband is 6 feet and we both feel that he should try the chair before purchasing it. Is this possible? Thanks, Jill

Does the chair glide without effort from the seated person?
Thank you for your question! Yes the chair can glide with minimal effort from the seated person. A gentle push off the ground will allow the chair to glide forwards and backwards.
Does the white leather become stained if you wear dark jeans, etc?
Thank you for your question! Enviroleather is a durable faux leather material that is cleanable and stain resistant. When it comes to dark denim it is always good to be mindful to try and avoid these types of dye transfers, as they can be difficult to remove.
I have two questions about your motorized Grano glider/recliner: 1.Does the control panel allow you to raise the footrest without putting the chair into a fully reclined position? 2.Does the chair have to remain plugged in in order to use the motorized control or is this simply a charging port? Hello, thank you for your questions! The control panel does allow you to raise the footrest without putting the chair into a fully reclined position. The chair only begins to recline once the footrest is fully extended, so you can stop this at any point. The chair does not remain plugged in, it is a charging port. The chair should only be plugged in for a maximum of 10-12 hours to charge, and each charge should last about 3-4 weeks with regular use. Please contact us if you have any additional questions!
